The user friendly report will identify where change is needed to meet legislation or a recognised standard. Each individual area will have an action plan where you can record your own targets which need looking at, these will be broken down into three categories, these are:

  1. Actions required to meet an actual or implied legal requirement or Actions required to address a majority non-conformity to OHSAS 18001 or other agreed standards.
  2. Actions that are good practice, and would be expected to be taken by your organisation or Actions required to address a majority non-conformity to OHSAS 18001 or other agreed standards.
  3. Other suggestions that, whilst not essential, may enhance the working environment and morale of the employees.

Risk Assessments

All employers are under statutory duty to have a competent person to asses and evaluate all risks in the workplace.

Risk Assessments are needed to be carried out for:

  • General risks
  • Where exposure to substances may cause damage to health
  • At workstations where VDUs are used
  • Where hazardous lifting or carrying tasks are undertaken
  • Fire safety

All risk assessments must be reviewed from time to time, we recommend annually. This can be done by a competent person or we can review them for you.
